I would still love to have a Clark+Brainy Fanclub but I still have no idea how to do one...

In other news I realized that the anniversary of "Broken Gears" first writen for the public passed in September. This is signifigant, at least for me, since this is the story that launched me into writing LOSH and Clark+Brainy stories. It's also the first Fanfiction I have ever completed, back in March. So I wanted to have a contest for it, since I haven't before, but I also wanted a LOSH Halloween contest sicne it IS my favorite holiday.

A few people on Fanfiction.Net made suggestions on what to do about a "Broken Gears" or a LOSH Halloween Fanart contest. I believe it was FunkyFish1991 who made the suggestion of BG art with a Halloween theme. I like that idea but I worry that may take away from people who want to draw a scene from the actual story.

So here's what I'll do: For anyone who wants to participate you can either do FunkyFish1991's idea (BG art with a Halloween theme like Clark and Brainy going trick or treating with Virgil and Richie or something) or submit two entries; one purely Broken Gears and one purely a LOSH Halloween. If there are entries for each kind then I'll divide them up into three different voting sections of the contest. First place winners gets a one shot or their idea, within reason, inserted into one of my already existing stories. 2nd and 3rd place entries, depending on if I get that many entries, will get drabbles. Since I'm sure Halloween is too close for word to get around and for people to work on what they want to do I've decided to have the due date on one of the truly scariest days on the American Calender.... Black Friday! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The day after Thanksgiving for those of you who may not know.

OR, and I just thought of this, have the LOSH Halloween Contest entries due on Black Friday and the "Broken Gears" entries due in March since that's the anniversary of it's completion. March 16th to be exact! But if people want to do the "Broken Gears" with a Halloween theme idea the due date for that one would be... Still Black Friday with the Halloween contest. It would just have separate voting if there are a lot of submissions.

OOH! Bonus idea! Anyone who enters all two/three contests I will put into a drawing for a FREE Brainy necklace, no beads, that I am making. Examples can be seen in my gallery. All the winner has to do is pay a couple of dollars for shipping.

Does that sound good for everyone? I'm open to further suggestion.

My friend is trying to make Sept 21-27 Clark+Brainy week since season one premiered Sept 22 and season two premiered Sept 23.

I'm sure she would love it if any Clark+Brainy fan participated. I'm going to do my best to do the same.

Any fanart, whether it be drawings, fanfiction, music videos or anything else you can think of is welcomed.

If you decide to participate I think it would be fun if you send to link to either me or Yu-Gi-Ah and we can post all the links into one of our journals, possibly both, so more people can see it.

Also... can someone explain to me how making a club here works? I think Clark+Brainy should definitely have their own club but I don't think anyone else is going to make it for me.

It's going to be my birthday next month (March 7) and I'm going to be 23. Does anyone know if there's anything special about turning 23?

In other news I've graduated college! I'm so happy but people keep asking me what I'm going to do now when all I want is a break to write my novels.

Is it rude to ask for something for my birthday? Mostly all I want is reviews on my stories so I can stay inspired.

BUT if anyone REALLY wants to make me happy all they have to do is draw me some pictures of Brainiac 5 from The Legion of Superheroes! Just Brainy pictures would make me happy but if you're really in the mood for a challenge Brainy/Superman slash would be AWESOME! Or for a REALLY big challange; pictures of my stories.

I got a message on my profile saying that I've been mentioned in a blog and gave me a link to check it out. I clicked the link to see but it just logged me out. I sent the person a message saying that it didn't work and other people let me know it was a spammer. If this happens to you, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD RIGHT AWAY. Seriously though some people have nothing better to do then be pains.

I'm still waiting for the 1st place winner of the TOSopP fanart contest to tell me what they want for their oneshot, but I don't mind, they can take all the time they need, and I'm going to wait to do all the drabbles until the UC and MP fanart contests are over, which will be around 08/05 so I can post them all together.

On a new note I bought a white jacket that I would like to paint on like a canvas with a bunch of characters and stuff I like. A little Anime, some Disney, cartoons and comics, etc... Sadly I draw like a monkey; I see something and then I draw from it as a visual reference. So here is what I was thinking: I'd have another fanart contest only I'd choose the winner this time. The person I chose would get a oneshot and everyone who gave me a submission would get a guaranteed drabble.

Here would be the rules:

There has to be an element from each of my LOSH stories in the picture. Like Fuzzy from UC, the Brainy plushie from MP, backpack from BG, etc... It would probably be hard to pick an element from Sunlight Naptime, When or When Doves Cry so those don't have to be included if your don't want them to be but I'd be impressed if you found something to add from them.

Characters that have to be in the picture are Brainy and a version of Clark/Superman/Kal-El. If you want there can be multiple versions of them like Brainy being fought over by Superman and Kal-El while little Brainy/Smarty watches while sitting on older Superman's lap.

There can be as many or as little characters as you want in it other then Brainy and Clark/Kal-El.

Extra points will be given to those who add Static/Virgil, Gear/Richie, Batman, or Invisible Kid (styled in the fashion of the famous kiss era from the comics). But like I said, adding more character is not required.

That's what I'm thinking so far, and I'd probably give a few months to anyone who wanted to enter, until around November maybe? If no one is interested I may use one of the fanarts I've already recieved or a screen shot from the show.

In any case when it's finished I hope to wear it on the next Anime Convention I go to since it's been a long time since I was able to go and I want to reward myself since I'll be graduating (hopefully) at half year this year. X3
